Solution for Bicycle Light Rain-Exposure Testing
The vehicle lighting rain‑exposure test plan consists of three main components: a spray system, a water‑storage system, and a control system. Two types of fixtures are installed internally, enabling separate simulation of tests for front‑mounted headlamps and rear‑mounted warning taillights.
The container rain‑test rig is independently designed and manufactured by Yuexin Company. The unit features a main frame constructed from 304 stainless steel, with ground‑level guide rails, and delivers spray to the container in multiple stages. This device was specially designed by Yuexin Company for waterproof testing of inspection robots. The rain‑test chamber features an integral structure with an external central control cabinet, enabling centralized management of four test modes—IPX3, IPX4, IPX5, and IPX6. Inside the chamber, a recirculating water tank ensures that the spray water is reused, significantly conserving resources for customers who conduct daily tests.

In May 2018, the R&D department of Xidun Lighting contacted Yuexin and invited them to visit in person to develop a comprehensive rain‑test laboratory solution.
In September 2017, Shenzhen DJI Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. entered into a cooperation agreement with Yuexin Company, designating Yuexin to provide a solution for IPX1–8 waterproof test chambers and to supply the associated waterproof testing equipment.

In 2015, Yue Xin participated in the quality-control upgrade project for outdoor lighting products at Opple Lighting. To strengthen its control over product quality, Opple Lighting decided to introduce higher‑grade enclosure waterproof‑testing equipment across its product lines.
In April 2018, Yuexin partnered with the Henan Provincial Institute for Product Quality Supervision and Inspection on an IPX1–7 waterproofing laboratory project. The laboratory is now fully operational.
In early April 2016, Guangdong Weipu Electrical Co., Ltd. entered into a cooperation agreement with Yuexin and purchased an IPX3–6 comprehensive rain‑test chamber from Yuexin. At the end of the month, Yuexin delivered the equipment to Zhongshan, completed installation and commissioning, and handed it over for the customer’s use.
As a professional manufacturer of automotive wire harnesses, Changchun Jieyi has always placed great emphasis on quality control. During discussions with Yuexin, Jieyi’s quality manager noted that their wire harnesses had previously been subjected only to water‑immersion testing—a practice that lacked rigor. This time, they plan to acquire a complete set of equipment to conduct full IP67‑rated dust‑ and water‑proofness tests, ensuring that in the future they no longer have to worry about claims that their testing falls short.
In April 2015, Yuexin supplied Wuhan Huagong Gaoli Electronics with a rain‑test chamber that complies with both Japanese and Chinese standards. In this collaboration, recognizing the stringent requirements of the Japanese standard for nozzle water pressure, Yuexin’s engineers departed from conventional practices: rather than following the traditional approach used in previous rain‑test chambers, they directly employed a constant‑pressure sensor to maintain stable spray pressure.

In September 2018, Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd. partnered with Yuexin to purchase a custom‑made IPX56 rain‑test chamber (including a shower‑type rain‑test unit). Prior to this, Sungrow had approached several manufacturers of waterproof‑testing equipment and even built its own rain‑test chamber facility; however, the available equipment proved unreliable and prone to malfunctions. Following contact with Yuexin, Li, from the R&D department, along with three colleagues, traveled to Guangzhou to conduct an on‑site inspection and visit.
In May 2018, the Yuexin sand and dust test chamber was successfully delivered to Jiangsu Longteng Electric Power Equipment Quality Inspection Co., Ltd. With internal dimensions of 1000×1000×1000 mm, this chamber is suitable for testing most types of electrical equipment.
