IPX9K Battery Rain-Exposure Test Solution
Batteries, depending on their protection rating, typically undergo tests such as IP67, IP68, and IPX9K (IPX69K). Among these, IPX9K represents the highest level of ingress protection. The test procedure employs a fan‑type nozzle in accordance with GBT 4208‑2017, subjecting small‑sized enclosures to spray at a flow rate of (15 ± 1) L/min for 30 seconds in each direction, with a rotation speed of (5 ± 1) r/min, and delivering the spray at angles of 0°, 30°, 60°, and 90°. For larger enclosures, testing is conducted under intended operating conditions, with the spray applied from a distance of (175 ± 25) mm.
Battery IPX9K Rain Test Procedure
The lithium‑battery IP67/IP68/IPX9K high‑temperature, high‑pressure water‑jet testing equipment is designed to evaluate a battery’s waterproof rating.
