Scheme Overview

Umbrella rain‑exposure test procedure: The test apparatus consists of a rain gauge, an adjusting valve, a rotating mechanism, a water supply pipe, and stainless‑steel nozzles. The stainless‑steel nozzles shall conform to the 22G specification as defined in GB/T 18457‑2015, with nozzle spacing of (505) mm × (505) mm. The umbrella shall be fully opened so that the shaft is perpendicular to the ground, with the distance H between the top of the canopy and the nozzle exceeding 500 mm (see Figure 2). The canopy shall then rotate around the shaft at a speed of (50.25) r/min. The water source shall be activated to achieve a rainfall rate of (1.8 ± 0.2) mm/min, ensuring that the entire canopy surface is within the spray zone. The test shall be conducted for 2 minutes; upon cessation of the water supply, the condition of the canopy shall be immediately inspected to verify compliance with the requirements specified in Clause 5.10. If alternative equipment is used, the rotational speed, spray volume, and spray coverage must all meet the provisions of this standard.
