Project Background

Since charging stations are often installed in outdoor environments, they frequently encounter inclement weather and are susceptible to moisture and corrosion from rain. The large‑spray IPX4 rain‑exposure test protocol is used to evaluate the physical and other relevant performance characteristics of products such as charging stations, outdoor cabinets, electrical and electronic equipment, luminaires, control panels, electrical components, automobiles, motorcycles, and their parts, under simulated rainfall conditions. Following the test, product performance is assessed through inspection to determine compliance with specified requirements, supporting product design, refinement, certification, and factory acceptance testing.

Project Overview

This solution complies with national standards such as GB 4208‑2017, ISO 20653, and IEC 60529, and is suitable for conducting IPX3 and IPX4 waterproof‑rating tests on products. The showerhead is manufactured using CNC machining for precise dimensions, crafted from solid brass with a mirror‑polished finish that resembles a copper mirror—elegant, stylish, and highly corrosion‑resistant. In addition, the movable baffle is made of aluminum alloy (meeting standard material specifications), undergoes sandblasting followed by anodizing to achieve both aesthetic appeal and durability. The showerhead surface is coated with an anti‑rust layer, effectively preventing watermarks and verdigris that could detract from its appearance. All other components are fabricated from SUS304 stainless steel, ensuring rust resistance and long service life, and the unit can be directly connected to tap water.

Solution Value
